1- Cookies

Cookies are text files that are stored in folders by the Internet browser on your computer. Cookies are accessed and saved by the websites you visit, and by companies that display their advertisements on websites, so that they can recognize the browser. The Hemrex website uses cookies for the following reasons:

To compile statistics and volumes of visits and use of the various elements making up the Hemrex site, enabling us to improve the interest and ergonomics of our services.
To adapt the presentation of the Hemrex site to the display preferences of your terminal (language used, display resolution, operating system used, etc.) during your visits to our site, according to the hardware and software for viewing or reading that your terminal has.
To help measure and research the effectiveness of our online interactive content, features, advertising, and other communications.
The Hemrex site may allow third parties to place their own cookies in your browser in order to provide you with relevant online advertising, and to help us measure traffic and effectiveness as described above, to provide you with access to social networks, features and services, and to allow us to conduct polls and surveys in which you agree to participate.

Facebook, Google and Twitter place their cookies on the Hemrex site to help with the integration and operation of its social network and its use in accordance with their privacy rules. This is notably the case for “Share” and “Like” buttons from social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, etc. The social network providing such an application button is likely to identify you thanks to this button, even if you did not use this button when consulting our site.

Hemrex invites you to consult the privacy protection policies of these social networks in order to learn about the purposes for which they may use the browsing information they may collect through these application buttons, in particular for advertising purposes. In particular, these protection policies should enable you to exercise your choices with regard to these social networks, notably by configuring your user accounts for each of these networks.

For information about your choices regarding the installation of cookies, see “Your Choices Regarding Cookies and Web Beacons” at the end of this section.

2- Web Tags and Other Technologies

We may use standardized technologies, such as web tags or similar technologies, to track your use of the Hemrex site. Web tags (sometimes called transparent GIFs, clear GIFs, or web bugs) are small lines of code that allow us to display a small (usually invisible) graphic image on a web page or in an email. Web tags can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, the time and date a page was viewed, and a description of the page where the web tag is placed.

We use web tags to enhance your experience on our website, including to provide you with content customized to your interests and to understand whether users read e-mails and click on links contained in these messages so that we can distribute relevant content and offers. Our web tags may collect certain contact information (for example, the email address associated with an email that contains a web tag).

The Hemrex site may include third-party web tags. These web tags enable third-party service providers to collect certain information such as your IP address, browser type, and the web page you visited before arriving at our site. These third-party service providers process the information they collect for auditing and research purposes.

We do not share your contact details (e.g. telephone number or e-mail address) with these third parties in connection with their use of web tags.

Mobiles Devices

Some mobile devices contain unique identifiers that can be used, for example, to identify the physical location of these devices. In addition, mobile devices transmit caller ID data when they are used to transmit a phone call or SMS. The Hemrex website may collect, use, transmit, process and store unique identifiers, caller ID data, geolocation data, and similar information when you use mobile devices, including to provide the services you request, to inform you about offers we think may be of interest to you, and to improve your experience on the Hemrex website . In accordance with applicable law, Hemrex will provide you with an easy way to accept or decline our collection of the geographic location of your mobile device in advance. The Hemrex site may collect your mobile number so that you can participate in certain services or features, and this number may be associated with this information.

3- Your Choices Regarding Cookies and Web Tags

You have the choice of configuring your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, inform you when a cookie is issued, its validity period and content, as well as allowing you to refuse its storage on your terminal, and delete your cookies periodically. As each browser is different, we invite you to consult your browser’s “Help” contextual menu to find out how to modify your cookie preferences, or follow the links below for each browser.

Web tags are generally used in conjunction with cookies, so if your browser is set to refuse cookies, or if cookies are deleted, web tags will not be able to track your activity as you navigate between websites.

It is up to you to decide whether to allow us or third parties to send you cookies, but if you block cookies, you may not be able to access or view some or all of the Hemrex website. By using the Hemrex website and choosing not to block or disable cookies, web tags or similar technologies where you have the opportunity to do so, you consent to the use of personal information in connection with the technologies as described in these rules.

For more information on cookies and web tags, including how you can manage your browser settings to accept or reject cookies, please visit the website of the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés: http://www.cnil.fr/vos-libertes/vos-traces/les-cookies/.

The choices available to you through your browser

(a) Agreement on cookies

The recording of a cookie in a terminal is essentially subject to the will of the Terminal user, which he or she can express and modify at any time and free of charge through the choices offered to him or her by his or her browsing software.

If you have accepted the storage of cookies in your Terminal, the cookies integrated into the pages and content you have consulted may be stored temporarily in a dedicated area of your Terminal. They will only be readable there by their sender.

(b) Refusing cookies

If you refuse to accept cookies on your terminal, you will no longer be able to benefit from a certain number of functions which are nevertheless necessary for browsing certain areas of the Hemrex website. This would be the case if you tried to access our content or services that require you to identify yourself. This would also be the case if we – or our service providers – were unable to recognize, for technical compatibility purposes, the type of browser used by your terminal, its language and display settings or the country from which your terminal appears to be connected to the Internet.
Where applicable, Hemrex declines all responsibility for any consequences linked to the degraded operation of our services resulting from Hemrex’s inability to record or consult the cookies necessary for the operation of the site and which you have refused or deleted.

There are other ways of managing the deposit of cookies on your terminal besides setting your browser parameters. Refusing cookies from the Hemrex website does not mean that you will not see any online advertising. It simply means that the advertisements for Hemrex products that you receive will not be based on your supposed centers of interest (linked to your browsing on Hemrex ). On the other hand, you may still receive behavioral advertising from other companies, if you have not refused their cookies.

There are several families of cookies present on Hemrex sites:

1. Operation

This is the highest level of deactivation. It maintains only those cookies that guarantee the functioning of the site and enable its optimization. These cookies cannot be deactivated, as this would prevent the site from functioning correctly.

2. Social and Webanalytics

This intermediate level of deactivation maintains social cookies and Webanalytics cookies. Social cookies enable interaction with the social modules present on the site. Disabling them therefore prevents any interaction with social networks. Webanalytics cookies enable us to obtain anonymous statistics on the number of visitors to our site, in order to optimize it and detect any malfunctions.

Hemrex also uses Google Analytics. To block the use of data by Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

In particular, Hemrex uses the Facebook and Twitter sharing buttons:

Please note that a cookie is used to process your request. If you delete all the cookies stored on your browser terminal concerning the Hemrex site, Hemrex -or its service providers- will no longer know what consent you have given. This will reset your consent and you will be asked for it again the next time you visit or load a page on the Hemrex site.
